Annual Lafayette Gimme Classic

It’s time again for The Annual Lafayette Gimme Classic Best Ball Golf Tournament!!

Details:
What: 18-hole Golf Tournament, followed by BBQ dinner and prizes!
Where: Emerald Links Golf Club
When: Monday, September 23rd, 2024, Tee off 12:30pm
Cost: $700 per team or $175 per person

There’s a coach bus from the Laff available, limited to 52 spots! First paid, first served. The tournament fee includes the bus and there is no opt out. Bus departs the Laff at 10:30am SHARP! It departs the course at 8:30pm (approximately) to return to the Laff.

Sign up as a foursome, or if you sign up as a single player you’ll be placed on a team. Email registration to orders@thelaff.ca. We need the first and last name for each player and a phone number for the team captain. Please indicate how many players are taking the bus, and any dietary requirements.

Payment accepted by e-transfer to orders@thelaff.ca and write the names of the players in the comments. You can also pay at the Laff by cash, credit, or debit. Questions? Email me!

20 Year Anniversary of The John Carroll Show

Tonight, we bring you a VERY special edition of the John Carroll Show.

Tonight, we're celebrating 20 years of John Carroll at the Laff.

And y'all thought Lucky Ron had tenure? John Carroll said "hold my beer" and got to work. John has been playing a weekly gig here since 2004. He has also been hosting our Open Mic for nearly as long, and now, on the last Sunday of the month, he hosts a special Open Mic Showcase in which he invites some of the best performers from that month to play their own solo set - often for the first time! It's a leg up program that gives the talented players a stage where they can practice their performances, get feedback from a pro, and hopefully gain a following of their own for 20 years and counting.

John will be playing all evening, with some special surprises along the way! Come on out and celebrate John Carroll with us!
